Below is my academic lineage. I have
tried to established links from doctoral supervisor, including who appeared to
be a co-director or an equivalent when there seemed to be one. I have tried to
exclude partnerships (links as equal instead of mentor). The further back we go,
especially in the Middle Ages and 10-12th centuries, the expertise
and recognition of the mentors seem well establish but the training seems to
become more informal and without official diploma. Of course, as we move back
earlier in time, it also becomes more and more difficult to establish links and
facts.
