L'image de fond est tirée d'une incision rupestre de 5000 ans
a.-P., située dans la région du Lac des Bois en Ontario occidentale.
Possiblement une représentation d'un oiseau de tonnerre, je l’ai photographié en 1980.
Les techniques graphiques utilisées pour produire l'image sont décrites dans mon livre Images in Stone.
The background image is a rock art engraving tentatively dated as 5000 years
old from the Lake of the Woods region, western Ontario. Conventionally
called a thunderbird, I photographed it in 1980. The graphic techniques I
used to reproduce the image are described in my book Images in Stone.
